Stated-Owned Enterprises Plays a Leading Role in IP Protection
April 10, 2006Before long, Wu Yi, deputy premier of State Council and the leader of National Working Group on Intellectual Property Protection, made a speech in the course of the conference on Enterprise IP Protection and Self-Creation and Self-Invention, pointing out that the self-creation and self-invention are the soul in developing science and technology and endless drive in developing a nation. Without IP protection, there is no self-creation and self-invention. She said that the Chinese government would take more efficient measures, with more confidence, on IP protection continuously. She also hopes that enterprises nationwide can shoulder the social responsibility of IP protection.
